Pro Tools is my goto for Tracking live instruments, mixing and editing.
I always like to check out different DAW's and see what they can do. This stuff always comes down to personal preference though. When I'm feeling lazy and just want to do everything in one DAW, lately I've been sticking with Cubase Pro.
Unfortunately there is still no DAW that I like for doing absolutely everything, and there probably wont ever be, though some do come close. I've used just about ever DAW on the market worth using, except Reaper, Harrison, and Sequoia, and they all seem to have their ups and downs in terms of workflow across the board. Add Push 2 and it get even better!!I'm currently all Mac for studio work as well, but I'm thinking of adding a Windows 10 machine so I can jump back into the newest version for songwriting purposes. But for creating and brainstorming song ideas and beats. I don't have a PC so that's why I haven't used it since.
